The History of NSMBC
The Discord server was created under the name “MvsL Hacking” and was founded by Ndymario on January 7th, 2018. The first public invite link was posted  here . The goal of the server was to have a place where people could discuss Mario vs Luigi modding in real-time as opposed to using the forums over at the New Super Mario Bros. Hacking Domain. Soon, however, on July 7th, 2018, Ndymario announced that the server would be broadening its scope to cover all of NSMB, as opposed to just covering Mario vs Luigi. Additionally, the server name was changed to “NSMBHD”, which was short for the New Super Mario Bros. Hacking Discord. However, in a year, this change in scope would be reverted by an announcement on July 23rd, 2019.  
 Following this, the server would soon get a new rebrand on April 28th, 2020 . Going by the name of “MvsL Central”, this new name was chosen as Ndymario was working on a project to port MvsL to Python and wanted to incorporate the project into the server.  
 Finally, on September 3rd, 2020, it was announced that MvsL hacking would be merged with Snailicorn's Palace to become the server it is today: New Super Mario Bros. Central.
